Overview:

Buctril Super 60% EC (900ml) is a post-emergent herbicide developed by Bayer Crop Science, formulated with a combination of Bromoxynil (18.7%) and Butanoate (18.1%). This formulation provides effective control of broadleaf weeds that compete with wheat crops for nutrients, water, and light.​

The herbicide works by inhibiting photosynthesis in susceptible weed species, leading to their rapid death. Its contact action ensures that only the weeds present at the time of application are affected, minimizing the risk to the crop.​

Buctril Super is particularly effective against weeds such as Convolvulus arvensis (Lehli), Chenopodium album (Bathu), and Fumaria officinalis (Shahtera), which are common in wheat fields.​

🛠️ How to Use:

• Dosage: Apply 300 ml per acre.

• Application:

  • Mix the recommended dose in 120 liters of water per acre.

  • Apply as a foliar spray using a knapsack sprayer fitted with a flat-fan nozzle.

  • Ensure thorough coverage of the weed foliage.

• Timing:

  • Apply after the first irrigation when broadleaf weeds have emerged.

  • Ensure the field is drained of standing water before application and that the soil has adequate moisture.​
