Overview:

Council Activ 75 GM is an advanced post-emergent herbicide developed by Bayer Crop Science, formulated with a combination of Triafamone (20%) and Ethoxysulfuron (10%). This dual-action formulation provides comprehensive control of a broad spectrum of weed species, ensuring cleaner fields and improved rice yields.​

The herbicide works by inhibiting the acetolactate synthase (ALS) enzyme in susceptible weeds, disrupting essential amino acid synthesis, leading to effective weed control. Its systemic action ensures thorough eradication of weeds, including those that are difficult to control through manual methods.​

🛠️ How to Use:

• Dosage: Apply 75 grams per acre.

• Application:

  • Mix the recommended dose in 100–120 liters of water per acre.

  • Apply as a uniform spray over the field using appropriate spraying equipment.

  • Ensure thorough coverage for optimal efficacy.

• Timing:

  • Apply 10 to 15 days after transplanting or when weeds are at the 2 to 4 leaf stage.

  • Drain water completely from the field before spraying.

  • Ensure the soil has adequate moisture at the time of application.

  • Maintain soil moisture for the next 10 days after spraying for best results.​
