Overview:

Emesto® Prime 240 FS (160 ml) is a novel fungicide developed by Bayer Crop Science for the seed treatment of potatoes. Its active ingredient, Penflufen 240 FS, is a pyrazole-carboxamide fungicide that inhibits succinate dehydrogenase (SDHI), disrupting the energy production in fungal pathogens. This action effectively controls seed and soil-borne diseases, particularly black scurf caused by Rhizoctonia solani.​

Penflufen evenly distributes over the tuber and in the surrounding soil, protecting young sprouts and growing daughter tubers from infection. Its systemic action ensures comprehensive protection, leading to healthier plants and improved yields.​

🛠️ How to Use:

• Dosage: 100 ml for 964 kg of potato tubers.

• Method of Application:

  • Mix the recommended dose with the seed tubers to ensure uniform coverage.

  • Allow the treated seeds to dry in the shade before planting.

• Timing: Apply as a seed treatment before planting.​
